Why my package was rejected?

You're trying to upload to two distroseries at the same time "karmic" and "unstable". There's 2 problems with this:

1. Launchpad will only let you upload to one series at once
2. "unstable" does not exist in Ubuntu, it's a Debian series.

Just remove "unstable" from your changelog and it should work.

You have to edit your debian/control file and set a Section: header

What I forgot know?

When you build your package, use: debuild -S

You are not allowed to upload your own binaries.

This pops up on top of google for "unknown section" and the answer did not work for me. I could not figure where to find the valid list of sections.

For those who still wonder, the valid section id can be found at http://packages.ubuntu.com/. Select appropriate disrtro, select the "section" you want and see what the url says.
