Account log in problem

I have a problem with my Launchpad account. When I try to enter Launchpad, it logs in with that account, https://launchpad.net/~yigitates52-gmail, which is generated automatically by Launchpad because of I have translated some projects with .po files in the past ( not in Launchpad). My real account is: https://launchpad.net/~yigitates52 but when I click the link, it gives an oops Error.

Actual account: https://launchpad.net/~yigitates52
Generated account: https://launchpad.net/~yigitates52

In irc channel, they said that I can merge these accounts. But, I can't merge because of timeout problems.

I'm sorry I don't understand the exact problem/s you are having. It sounds like there are multiple.

First, I can go to both of the accounts you mentioned and do not get an OOPS. If you get an OOPS for either, could you paste the OOPS number here?

Second, the two accounts have two different email addresses. To log in with your preferred account (~yigitates52) you must use the email address you used to register, not the gmail account.

Finally I am linking this report to the FAQ that tells you how to merge accounts.

Yes, the problem is there are multiple. My real account is ~yigitates52 and ~yigitates52-gmail is the generated one.

No, both accounts have the same e-mail address (Gmail). Other e-mail adress is just my display e-mail address. The problem that when I enter my mail and password, it logs in with ~yigitates52-gmail . So, I can't access to my real account. When I enter https://launchpad.net/~yigitates52 link to the browser, the oops error appears (Error ID: OOPS-1724G506).

Stuart Bishop reports that this is an old slowdown bug that is becoming exacerbated as we reduce our timeout limits. I will see if I can get someone to make this change manually for you.

The two accounts *do not* have the same email address. I will send a summary to both addresses.

Hello Yiğit,

I'm sorry you continue to have problems. All I can suggest is that you go to https://login.launchpad.net/ , put in your non-gmail address, and select "Forgot your password". Please monitor your incoming email at that address and check your spam filters.

Please report back here what happens.

I have tried "Forgot your password" option three times with non-gmail adress, but no returning e-mail (I have also checked spam folder). The e-mail address belongs to me, as you could see I have sent my last message with that address.

I don't know how, but the problem has been resolved (maybe merge process is just completed).
