please update lp:schroot/trunk to track its git branch

The git repository is already being imported at lp:~rleigh/schroot/master.

The current maintainer of the schroot project in Launchpad is ~rleigh, who accordingly has the power to edit which branch is considered the development focus for the trunk series (which drives the lp:schroot and lp:schroot/trunk aliases).

Ideally, ask him to do this. Based on the timestamps of his last commits to the git repository in question, he appears active.

If he is uncertain where the relevant control is in the Launchpad UI:
 - it's the small pencil/edit icon next to "lp:schroot" on https://launchpad.net/schroot
 - or, go directly to it at https://launchpad.net/schroot/trunk/+linkbranch

One thing I'd like to fix that I don't have permission to is to fix the vcs-imports branch at
https://code.launchpad.net/~vcs-imports/schroot/trunk
This is still tracking the (non-existent) SVN repo, and it would be great if it too could be fixed to use the new git repo for importing, since it's just under three years out of date! I don't think I am allowed to do this myself, though.

I see you've deleted the git import lp:~rleigh/schroot/master. I'm a bit confused why you did that, but I've moved lp:~vcs-imports/schroot/trunk to lp:~vcs-imports/schroot/old-trunk and registered a new git import at lp:~vcs-imports/schroot/trunk. The lp:schroot short name has followed the old branch and now points at lp:~vcs-imports/schroot/old-trunk. You will need to retarget it using the instructions in my earlier response.
