can't upload po - xpi firefox-3.6 failed
Hy guys.
I'd like to load firefox-3.6 po fur translation. I tried a lot of ways to satisfy launchpad but none works.
##I tried upload the translated po. Then I tried tricky fur.xpi (zipping, renaming xpi, changing name ...)
>>> Launchpad: ... it is not a zip fur.xpi ...
##I tried xpi. I've got from a bzr a po2xpi . It transforms my po in a folder structure ... I substitute .dtd and .properties with those translated, changed en-US folder name in fur, packed folders in fur.jar, add chrome structure whit chrome.manifest and install.rdf , changed tags to reproduce tag inside the firefox po downloaded, packed zip structure (as I found in a it.xpi example) , renamed fur.xpi.
>>> Launchpad: ... "We were unable to import it because either this file did not originate in Launchpad, or you removed the tag we use to mark files exported from Launchpad" ...
Where is it the problem ? What the exact structure of xpi needed? I tried the guide https:/
Errors ?
1. name? I download the firefox-3.6 po named: firefox-
2. I take a look to the import queue of launchpad. Is it true that no firefox package is it ever imported ? I don't find any, or I could get it to see how it works. It seems me there is anyone. Is is true ? Can you try import one firefox-3.6 po with only a string changed to test ? Is it really a mission impossible ? If is it so, why leave the upload for this packet ? Please tell me if it is impossible. And I stop. If you have a working firefox-3.6 xpi please ... upload it so I can get it and take a look.
3. version? I take a look inside the firefox-3.6 it po (italian one) . The "version" inside is 3.6 ... in fur po the version inside is 3.0 . Is it an error ? Can it work ?
Ok I can see, perhaps too many questions.
REALLY NEEDED is only:
- There is a way (any way) to load all 5000 translated sentences about firefox-3.6 lucid package in single upload ?
- (if yes and more than one) What is the shortest way ?
(may be someone can take a look to last xpi or po in failed queue https:/
(may be an advice)
(may be someone can review a little the po or xpi and send me the right xpi ... or an advice)
Thanks a lot in advance for any answer.
Mauro
