Launchpad should add the ability to post UML2 diagrams.

Asked by tak

before I even start to write any code(recently anyway), I have to diagram it all out, first a use case, then a class diagram.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unified_Modeling_Language

This gets rid of bugs early, and maintains a sense of quality control, and visually helps the other developers quickly understand whats going on by abstracting the project out. This is similar to the launchpad blueprint feature, (in fact its more like a visual version of that.) However I think adding support (maybe in the blueprints section, an added area for uploading UML diagrams) for UML use case, and class diagrams would be a major improvement to launchpad as a whole.

Personally I would also much prefer to quickly open an Eclipse Modeling Plugin, and pump out a visual UML diagram, than to type out the features line by line.

Most projects use a wiki for specifications and documentation, and they can post UML diagrams to the wiki. We are not planning to add a UML feature, but the community are welcome to contribute such a feature.

Can you help with this problem?
