Branch in broken state: can't checkout, can't upgrade

Two branches in question:

lp:~lvh/twisted/positioning
lp:~lvh/twisted/positioning-statistics

In both cases, "View branch content" (loggerhead access) doesn't work, with the somewhat nondescript error message:

Internal Server Error

Branching them doesn't work because of a version mismatch:

bzr: ERROR: CHKInventoryRepository('http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~twisted-dev/twisted/trunk/.bzr/repository/')
is not compatible with
KnitPackRepository('http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~lvh/twisted/positioning/.bzr/repository/')
different serializers

Upgrading them from lp doesn't work (fails silently: says in progress, eventually gives up, branch still in old format).

What can I do?

Did a new bzr's remote upgrades appear to have fixed the problem. Yay :)
