How does LP decide what location in a branch to export translation files to?

Each translation file is exported in the directory of the template that it belongs to. If the template has been uploaded with different paths in the past, it's possible that this may not be exactly the directory you expected.
The translation file is named after the code for its language. Examples: pt.po for Portuguese, pt_BR.po for Brazilian Portuguese, ka.po for Georgian, zh_CN for Simplified Chinese, and so on. Again, if you imported any of these files under different names, the exported names may not be what you expect.
