Remove "Files and Folders" tab ?

How would I go about removing the "Files and Folders" sidebar item from the launcher?

Everything else seems to be removable from the main menu configuration, but not this.

I'm trying to make a version that is as "finger-friendly" (touch screen) and "safe" as possible for an embedded system without a keyboard or mouse.

With the source code, I've managed to keep the tab from displaying anything, but I can't figure out where it is coming from in the first place.
