How to start programming with keystone and adding my own patch

Hi all,
actually i'm just starting learning openstack and i install it through DevStack script.After that i create a few of virtual instances and all services are worked well. My question is that how can i programming with openstack , for instance the keystone component using pycharm programming ide, i do not how to start it and how to add my own patch into it, I would be really appreciate if anyone can give me some advice .
