OpenStack Identity (keystone)

Pro and Cron for OpenStack Keystone

Right now, i am investigating the Keystone technology. I need to first come up with a analysis report for the Pros and Crons whether we will use this component. Not sure someone here has some detailed information/comparison with other techniques/idea for this topic. Your information will be really helpful for the decision making.

Hi kevin,

Keystone is the perfect tool for identity, no doubt about it..

You can use it, it is better than any other techniques/ideas

Keystone for now is not a good product.

 (1) It is developed by Rackspace, However, they are not using it. They use another product globalOath instead. The main reason is the performance of Keystone is bad. It can not scale. It need to be redesigned.

(2) Try AWS IAM. It is an equavant product as Keystone. However, it scales better and is used by Amazon now.
