Jokosher

There are no instrument effects on my version.

This may seem base --but I'm new to audio production in general and Jokosher in particular . . . How do I activate and/or download instrument effects? There don't seem to be any when I select effects, at least not for acoustic guitar or bass or "other."

If you are using Ubuntu, you can install the following packages to get all (or almost all) the LADSPA plugins supported by Jokosher:
blop caps cmt fil-plugins mcp-plugins omins swh-plugins tap-plugins

You may also have to delete the '.gstreamer-0.10' folder in your home directory to make sure the plugin list is regenerated next time you start Jokosher.

Jokosher currently doesn't support instrument effects, because it would require MIDI tracks.
