JayDeBeApi works with Python or Jython 2.5 and higher. It does not yet work with Python 3+. Supporting Python 3 is planned.

BTW: Feel free to help making it Python 3 compatible. A Python 3 compatible version of JPype, which is a dependency of JayDeBeApi, is available https://github.com/tcalmant/jpype-py3
