can't print large text on roll vinyl

i purchased a vinyl plotter from seiketech and the cd had inkscape.46 as software. i am using this for simple vinyl letter cutting and my plotter can supposedly cut up to 36" letters . Great for me. except i can get this to print any big letters just what fits in the text box
does anybody know how to do this?
all i want to do is cut letters and lines of lettering for signs

please help

It's hard to picture what you are talking about. If the text doesn't fit try to make a bigger textbox. Use the Text tool and click and drag on the canvas to make a textbox. Write the text, select it and write a bigger number in the size textbox.
