Competition to do a major icons overhaul in Inkscape?

Is it possible we make a competition to change icons in Inkscape for more modern ones in sort of a competition?
We could advertise this and set it to release in 0.93 version. It could be hosted in Deviantart website.

Any thoughts on this? :-)

Hi Victor,

this isn't the best place to talk about things like this, better ask on either the developers or user mailing list, or even on IRC or during the Board meeting on Friday (see Wiki: http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Board_Meetings). There's just me and (sometimes?) Marc reading these questions.

Anyway, we have a contest option on the inkscape.org website already, if you want to try that one. But really, the 'About Screen' contest should rather come first, I think. Josh would be the one to question about it, and there's already everything prepared for it on the website.

But please, involve others, don't just ask here.

how are you doing? Sorry about this. I had no idea this was not the correct place to post such questions. Will do my best to be at the board meeting on Friday. (In my time zone it'll be noon).
