How do I upload Inkscape Vectors to Microstock sites?

Asked by JuliP

I am running Inkscape in Windows Vista. I don't have Adobe Illustrator or PhotoShop, so when I save my files as EPS I cannot open them to view them. What I would really like to do is to be able to upload my images to Microstock sites using the EPS file format. I can save to EPS, but just can't open the file afterwards. My questions is...Can I still upload the EPS files I've saved to Microstock sites even though I can't open them on my own computer? If not, what do I need in order to do so?

Thanks!
Juli

I don't see why you should need to view them just to upload them. Nonetheless, it would be sensible to view them in order to make sure they are correct (as there are some problems with Inkscape's EPS output). To view EPS files, you can install Ghostscript and GSview, available from http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/ (Ghostscript is a PostScript interpreter, and GSview is a viewer that uses Ghostscript).
