Is there a way to select unfilled shapes as if they were filled (by clicking anywere inside the shape)?

Asked by Georgios Liakopoulos

Hello, I was wondering if I can treat shapes with no fill colour during selecting as if they had a definite fill colour. I explain further: if you have a shape with no fill, the only way to click-select is to click on its path, right? If you click inside it will not be selected. I CorelDraw there is an option for this issue: 'treat as filled'. Is there an option (or a defined key shortcut) in Inkscape to select unfilled shapes by clicking inside them?

No, Inkscape has no such option.

There are other ways to select objects, besides clicking on them. http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Select.html

Can you help with this problem?
