Changing a solid color to another solid color

I am going to use inkscape trace bitmap to trace my logo. It is a solid red color and I need it to be a solid white color with no background. Do i use the tools under trace bitmap or from somewhere else on the dashboard ?

You can change the color of the logo after tracing, using the Fill and Stroke dialog (Ctrl+Shift+F).

I have a logo on the screen and 1 letter (D) is halftone gray, I want it solid black. And a small object in the center of the (D) from black to white??? I'm on Inkscape
