Ballooning file size due to large # changes
Asked by
Laila P
I am drawing graphics for a flash-based game. To quicken the pace of development, I have been starting a new drawing by altering a prior drawing. So, my original drawing has been altered to form the basis for 40+ new drawings....and the file size has ballooned!
So a 11,554KB drawing re-assembled from scratch (cutting-and-pastes the final components into a new file) yields a 5KB drawing.
Clearly keeping the history of all my prior edits is the problem. Is there any simple way to drop all except the recent edit history?
...or is my only option doing a cut and paste into a new file?
