Save as plt file error

Asked by Jon Hinde

I Am trying to save as plt for a CNC milling machine to use. When I try to save as a plt file, I get the following error message:
Inkscape has received additional data from the script executed. The script did not return an error, but this may indicate the results will not be as expected.
The error box describes the error further:
UniConvertor failed:
ERROR: unrecognized extension .plt
I click OK. Each file is 183 bytes in size. When I try and open it in a program such as Corel Draw, it crashes. If I try to import into Inkscape, I get an error message that more or less syas that it can't read the file type.
I am using 0.47 with XP
Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the feedback. I updated to Python 2.6 and uniconvertor 1.1.4 as suggested in the link. I get a different message now:
UniConvertor failed:
ERROR: unrecognized extension .plt
Can anyone suggest a solution?

But have you updated inkscape to v 0.48?

Can you help with this problem?
