Move bug 282189 from devmapper to initramfs-tools?

There is a bug reported on package devmapper, which applies to initramfs-tools as well.

Should it be moved from devmapper to initramfs-tools?

I think it should be moved to initramfs-tools, so that the problem can be solved in the method get_lvm_deps() in /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/cryptroot. That method could then use some other way of determining a LV's dependencies, instead of the current "dmsetup deps".

UNLESS(!) the problem really lies with the implementation of "dmsetup deps". Then it should of course be fixed there instead. Does anyone know if "dmsetup deps" is supposed to work the way it does; reporting only the PV:s that the LV actually uses extents from, instead of reporting all the PV:s in the VG where the LV resides?
