Colors

Hi John,

I don't see what your issue is. Did you open "Settings" for Indicator Stickynotes? You should be able to click on "Background Color" and change the background color.

I am using Sticky notes with Ubuntu 14.xx

All notes are black text against a white background

Opening Preferences, I have reset this to, for example...

It makes no change, the notes are still black text against a white
background
I have also changed the Option boxes - no change

Could you download this, extract, and run indicator-stickynotes.py? (To run it, you will have to open a terminal, make sure you are in the directory with indicator-stickynotes.py and the run ./inidicator-stickynotes.py )
