How to using single applet

HI. I installed lucid recently.
But i don't want using indicator-applet. And i want to use this sound applet only.
Because i want only sound icon.

But this package is aleady installed, and sound applet is not shown applets list.

How do i use this applet only?

Do you mean that you do not want to see the envelope icon for incoming messages?
If that is the case, go to System → Administration → Synaptic Package Manager: Find and delete »indicator-messages«

Or just open up a terminal and type: sudo apt-get remove indicator-messages
