how to update to v 1.42

How can I update to v.1.42 ?
I'm using LInux Mint, on a Dell Inspirion 7520 which keeps hanging and I'm pretty sure it's due to the fan.
WHenever I use apt-get update I only get version 1.41

I'm following the advice given here:

There is a PPA https://launchpad.net/~vitorafsr/+archive/ubuntu/ppa with the 1.42 version for Ubuntu 14.04, 14.10 and 15.04
