The current versions (2016.0 and 2016.2, maybe also 2015.0) can already write the GPano tags for the viewer.
In the preferences, tab "Stitching (2)" the options "Copy metadata into final files using ExifTool" and "Create Photo Sphere XMP data" should be checked. And on your system you need exiftool with version 9.09 or later installed.
When you stitch now to an equirectangular output image it should contain the necessary information for the viewer.

PS: The cited link also mentions a "maximum file dimensions of 6000 x 3000 pixels". So maybe your image is too big?

Thank you for you Response

Everything in the preferences is correct, but there is not an argfile selected
I have also installed the Exiftool 10.41. But if i type Exiftool in the Terminal i have the Message "command not found".

I use Max OSX 10.11.6 "El Capitan" and Hugin 2016.2.0. I think i will try it later with macOS Sierra.

Thanks for your help

@Martin (dilbi): did you resolve the issue?

It seems to me that hugin 2016-02 is buggy and no metadata are copied to output.jpg at all.

I reported a bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hugin/+bug/1685928

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Martin for more information if necessary.
