Hi,

Try running the command "hp-check -t". If you see that command printing some output, HPLIP is installed. Otherwise, it unlikely to be installed (or at least, HPLIP installation is corrupted).

Suma - had to get some advice how to get to command prompt.

We have check and YES the hplip is installed. the printer prints, BUT nothing on the page on the LINUX eeePC laptop..

When we connect printer to Windows laptop - printer prints with data on the page.

PLEASE PLEASE can you help - we have spent HOURS and DAYS downloading different drivers and installing, tested them. Some worked, but later not worked anymore.
