linux driver for deskjet 430 all in one
There is no output when printing. When I click print it goes through the procedure but no text is actually printed on the paper. It is still blank.

Hi,
There are some important dependent packages which are not installed on your machine as listed by hp-check output. Also, HPLIP version is quite old.
Please uninstall the existing HPLIP and install the latest HPLIP 3.9.10. Remove the printer already configured and re-configure the printer again using hp-toolbox. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for all your help....everything is working just fine now. Seems I needed make a change in the printer settings. Really thought I had done it all but opps ! I did install the packages as you advised which of course made a difference I'm sure. Saving your replies for future reference.

Problem seems to be solved of the user. Correcting the status for better maintainabilty of hplip launchpad.

Actually what I did is update Ubuntu and it fixed everything.
