Installing HPLIP S/W in Pop-OS
Asked by
William Burden
I previously attempted to install the latest HPLIP software on an older HP Laserjet Printer using Pop-OS. There was no option to pick Pop-OS as the operating system, so I chose Ubuntu which was the closest O/S in the list of Distros offered. I immediately got an error and had to abort the install and re-install Ubuntu in order to use the printer. There seems to be every Linux distro in the O/S list BUT Pop-OS, which is quite surprising since Pop-OS is a popular distro. Has this over site been rectified in later versions of HPLIP?
