Missing duplex printing option in HP LaserJet MFP 128fw using hplip

Asked by B S R V Prasad

I am using hplip 3.18.6 in Ubuntu 18.04 for my every day printing with HP LaserJet MFP 128fw. I am unable to find the duplex printing option. It will be beneficial for me if you can add this option if it is missing or you can point me how to activate it if it is already present in the current version of hplip.

Thank you,

Best,
Prasad.

Hi Prasad,

Can you try the following commands and see if you can find the duplex option:
1) type hp-toolbox on your terminal
2) select your printer from the left panel
3) click on "printer settings"
2) click on "general" and see if you see a duplex or double sided printing option present. [you can change the setting using this option]

Regards,
Ayushi
