m1522n scanner driver missing

Asked by supra2

Tried to install my scanner from Yast for M1522n AllinOne LaserJet. I am missing the driver from hplip (I have 3.9.2).

Can I select a different scanner driver ? Looking especially for a driver that supports network.

Thanks

HPLIP supports this device, including scanning over the network. Please run
hp-check -t and post the output.

Sounds promising,
I have piped the output of hp-check into the file hpcheck.datei. The
file is attached.

Thanks for your help.

I don't see any printer queues configured for this device.

To configure the printer run:

su -c "hp-setup"

Hope this helps.

I followed at least the recommendation in the output of hp-check to resolve the dependencies. The proposed solution with xterm from the shell did not work, but calling Yast and install the needed packages was successfull. After the depenencies where resolved the scanner worked.
Thanks for your guidance
