HPLIP

repeated auth requests during install via terminal

Im using Fingerprint GUI, which is sucessfully authenicating sudo, login & all other auth requests.

Im running fresh install of 12.04 64bit Ubuntu on Tosh Protege m700.

During HPLIP install, from terminal, the process requessted authentification at each step of the way, now that i have F GUI installed.
Can someone clarify how the install auth works, once the initial password has been entered, so that a solution for Fingerprint GUI can be created?

Hi,

I think you are not using HP printer. HPLIP (HP Linux imaging and printing) is supposed to work on HP printers only.
