CM2320fxi MFP over network: Device communication erro
I am trying to install the printer at our workplace (CM2320fxi MFP) on my Ubuntu 11.10 box. During the run of hp-setup I get the message "Unable to communicate with the device. Please check the device and try again." The printer is located at a network location. If I choose to install the printer anyway and try to print a test page, I get a "Device communication error" (code 5012).
I can install the printer using the Ubuntu default printer setup wizard, and that *does* work, but all my grey scale prints are "dotted" then and hard to read. I hoped that when I would install the HPLIP driver this problem would be gone.
HPLIP version: 3.11.7
Can anyone help?
