HP2035 will not print envelopes

Just bought 2035 printer and used parallel cable for Unix Operating system. All reports, checks, etc. print fine, but cannot get envelopes to print. When the envelope feeds through there are just black lines across the envelope but no name and address.
I had the 1200 printer before this and envelopes worked fine. I don't know how to proceed to correct this. We do not have Windows on this computer--only the Unix system used for our furniture retail business. Why would the 1200 printer print the envelopes, but the 2035 will not?

Hi Lynette

At HPLIP we handle only HP-UX 11i and network printing through the use of modelscripts. We can address issues related to HP-UX11i and network printing.
