Photosmart Premiun c401B won't print duplex

Unable to set Media Size to A4 and Double Sided Printing to "Long Edge(standard)". Printer properties says that this conflicts.

OS: Ubuntu 10.10, AMD64 2.6.35-24
HPLIP: 3.11.1

Newly installed. HP Photosmart Premium Fax, C401B.

investigated: /etc/cups/ppd/HP-Photosmart-Prem-C410-series.ppd
This contains the lines

*UIConstraints: *Duplex *PageSize Letter.FB
*UIConstraints: *PageSize A4 *Duplex
*UIConstraints: *Duplex *PageSize A4

Is this correct? The printer has a hardware duplex device installed and so should be able to print in this mode.

Hi,

 While printing duplex job you should select AutoDuplex paper size. For example, if you are printing A4 duplex job you should select "A4 AutoDuplex" media size while printing.

If your problem is not solved with this, please post the result of 'hp-check -t' here.
