Stopped loading after upgrade to Catalina

I've just upgraded my Mac to Catalina. Homebank no longer loads. In xterm I get the error message; "unable to load file /Users/brianfoulds/Documents/Homebank Accounts/Brians accounts.xhb: Failed to open file ?/Users/brianfoulds/Documents/Homebank Accounts/Brians accounts.xhb?: Operation not permitted"

Homebank then opens but i get this file error message "I/O error for file '/Users/brianfoulds/Documents/Homebank Accounts/Brians accounts.xhb'.

I've added x11 to have full disk access under the Security and Privacy tab of system preferences.

What else could be causing the issue?

You should post on a dedicated mac forum.

the mac version is a third party port, and I do not provide support for this:
