File XHB invalid

Suddenly my file xhb is invalid, also the xhb~.

If I open with text software (for example UltraEdit) it appears like a Binary instead of text file (i 've tried on old backup of xhb).

what could it have happened?????

virus or you accidentally crypted the folder where the file are (or a level above)
anyhow Hb cannot be the source
