how to dispatch a transaction onto several categories

Can you explain how is it possible to disaptach a transaction onto several categories ?
for example : for 20€ : 18€ on equipment and 2€ on surgery ?

This feature, called transaction split, has only recently been added. It's available from version 4.5 onwards.
