As HomeBank rely on GTK+ 3.x you can quite easily change the appearance, called theme.
You can find a lots of themes at http://

Normaly HomeBank is installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeBank"
Unzip the theme under ...\HomeBank\
Then open ...\HomeBank\
Add/Change a line with
gtk-theme-name = name of the folder of your theme
for example gtk-theme-name = Adwaita
GTK3+ theme usually have dark variant, enable this by
gtk-application
