Missing Menubar

Asked by Łukasz Kuszyk

I have got:
 - 64-bit Ubuntu 13.04 (in Polish language);
 - 64-bit Hamchi 2.1.0.86-1_amd64;
 - Haguichi downloaded today (04.05.2013) by ppa.

There is a problem, when I launched Haguichi - there is no menu bar. I can't change preferences, etc.
However, I can use "Alt" button and then type commands, like "Edit", "Help", etc.

Someone know why menubar disappear and how to bring it back?

Do you use the Unity desktop environment? If so are you aware that in Unity there is a "global menubar" on top of the screen, instead of on top of the application window?

Thank you, I totally forgot it :). I can't get used to Unity's look ;).

That's one of the reasons I'm still on Ubuntu 11.04 with good old Gnome 2 installed as desktop environment :)

If you'd want to disable the global menubar, here's a simple tutorial to do so: http://www.liberiangeek.net/2012/04/disable-the-global-menu-in-ubuntu-12-04-precise-pangolin/
