Less dependencies for a light Haguichi?

Asked by Enzo Mancuso

I use Archlinux x86_64 and today I found this application. I loved it. But I am trying to build a light desktop with light applications (using as DE lxde combined with openbox), and I would include Haguichi. On Archlinux it requires mono, gtk-sharp-2, notify-sharp-svn and gnome-sharp. The last one is terrific because it needs a tons of other dependencies that I'd avoid. In particular the program requires "gconf-sharp" that I just found included in the gnome-sharp package.

Is it possibile to find a solution or is there nothing to do?

Thanks

Hi, I'm glad that you like Haguichi. Regarding gconf-sharp, this library is used by Haguichi for storing all configuration data, like preferences and the gui state. So it's quite essential...

In general, Haguichi's main focus is integration into the GNOME desktop, and thus making use of it's libraries (which in that case are already present). Fancy stuff comes with a cost, like notifications requiring notify-sharp.

So, I'm sorry I can't satisfy all possible needs.

Can you help with this problem?
