Mark elements as read

In google reader there is a function to mark elements as read, so they grey out (in this way you can understand that you've already read the element), and the following time you visit google reader, they don't appear. There's also a "mark all as read" option.

How can I do this in gwibber?

Currently, Gwibber does not support manually marking messages as read. The way it works, is that messages will be marked as read (the border will be removed) the next time your stream is updated. The best way to ask for this feature would be to file a bug report. The developers will mark it as a wishlist item, and it may eventually get added in to Gwibber.
