How can I changed preferred email client in Gwibber

Running Lucid, Gwibber is not honouring my default email setting in Preferred Applications. It continues to fire up Evolution whenever I select Compose New Message, or Mail.

Is this a bug, or is there another way of configuring Gwibber to open another program instead?

Gwibber is not an email client, its a microblogging client from which you can update you status to you facebook, twitter and few other accounts.

I suspect the package I'm referring to is actually Indicator Applet.
