if they are in other location? for example: my music is in other partition, and my videos in other partition

You go to places and it's probably the '47.8 GB Media', or what have you. I didn't even know that myself, so you really helped me by asking. Since it takes a password, I don't know if you can simplify it.

Unless you just want to drag the files over onto the other partition into any file you want.

gnomenu should do that automaticly for you since all you home ,docs , music etc are store in system settings where gnomenu looks for it

by theres a file that handles that stuff its in you .config / user-dirs
