Where is the blacklist?

Asked by Christian Meyer

Hey everybody,

I just installed the latest Version of the GAJ and I want to blacklist a couple of folders, but despite some hints in the web, there is no blacklist plugin in my current (0.8.0) version.

How can I blacklist now the desired folders?

Thanks
Christian Meyer

Sorry for obviously being not clear enough: How can I blacklist folders with GAJ? I already know, that the software you mentioned is capable of blacklisting, but I want software which is available in german!

Thanks!

Hi,

GNOME Activity Journal no longer supports blacklisting functionality. The plugin it used to provide was only a temporal solution until Activity Log Manager was developed.

...okay - if I read between your two lines: did you mean I can use the activity log manager for blacklisting the folders and keep using GAJ as my desired Zeitgeist GUI and it won't show the folders blacklisted in the activity log manager? Does it work like this?

But I am really wondering why the blacklist WAS available in GAJ and NOW is NOT any more, because it is really a valuable feature.

Thanks!

sorry, I clicked "comment" instead of "answer", which I unfortunately still need (-> my last post).

Thanks!
