gettext

%42 appears on place of %s

hello
i am translating wordpress.
part of code from kubrick theme (gettext version) , archive.php, line 15 :

<h2 class="pagetitle"><?php printf(_c('Archive for %s|Monthly archive page', 'kubrick'), get_the_time(__('F, Y', 'kubrick'))); ?></h2>

%42 appears instead of %s when i apply my translation. other translations are working correctly.
