Labels don't appear in Export

Hi,

Apologies for the newbie question but I already love Gephi and was wondering if you could help me with this:
- I have the program installed on 3 machines and the error happens consistently on all three. I run Windows 7, 32 and 64 bit. I have updated (and also uninstalled and reinstalled Gephi) but basically I can't:
* get labels to appear on an export to svg, pdf, png
* they do appear in a screenshot
* the edges and nodes appear just fine
* this seems to happen regardless of layout
* JAVA 7 Update 1
Thanks so much if you can this straightened I want to write a book too!
