Mounted stash allows read only access
Setup: ENCFS stash created on "Computer One" - this stash mounts correctly and allows read/write access. The user login name is "somebody", and the file permissions on the stash show the owner as "somebody".
Computer One is then shut down, and the exact same stash is mounted on "Computer Two". On Computer Two, the stash mounts, but only read-only access is given. The user login name is "somebody", but the file permissions on the stash show the owner as "root". Attempting to access the stash files as root (using sudo) gives a permission denied error.
Both computers are Ubuntu Linux machines. I have done this operation previously with other computers with no problems; why am I now having this problem?
P.S.
If I shutdown Computer Two and then mount the stash again on Computer One it works properly without access permission problems, which I interpret to mean there are no problems with the stash itself.
