How to install GASP on Fedora Linux

I have Python 2.5.1 on Fedora Linux. When I do "from gasp import *", I got the error message "ImportError: No module named gasp". Is it because I did not have GASP installed? If so, how do I install GASP?

Yes, that's correct.

We do have a GASP package in the fedora repos, which you can install like any other package ("python-gasp"), but it currently is out of date.

Download the latest version of gasp from https://edge.launchpad.net/gasp-code/+download and extract it to your python site-packages directory.
