How to use the software without this central server?

Hi,
we have a bug in the software,
from there :

it is going to a server that is not online,
I have gotten no solution to this yet, the mailing server is down.

please can you tell me how to get the toaster running.
what can we not run the software without this central server?

The old freedomtoaster.org site and the software it once hosted is effectively defunct.

You can use my ft-karmic branch if you wish to run it. But be aware that the project isn't being actively maintained by anyone.
