tray buttons

Asked by AMSlider

Is there a way to get the old traybuttons plugin to work with 0.3.0.1? I do not see it in the plugins list.

thanks!

That plugin was not ported to 0.3.x due to lack of developer interest. Should someone create an updated version we would be more than willing to review it for inclusion, but it is unlikely that any of the main developers will take action to port it themselves.

I would like to point out that I met another user requesting this plugin to be re-added. I might have a look at it for 0.3.1, thus, but I can't promise anything just yet.

Hello, I signed up here just to say...please port tray buttons! They made Exaile the best player ever, now I have to bring the window up everytime I want to change a track...I could care less about 90% of available plugins, traybuttons and ipod/cd support is all I need.

If there's anyway I can use the old plugin please inform me.

Thank you

Just a note, you can also go to the previous/next song using Shift (I think) + mouse scroll. Pause is middle click.
