How do save thunderbird emails Ubuntu One? Currently running Karmic.

If you want to sync your contacts with Ubuntu One using Thunderbird, you can try our new mobile contacts sync service (currently in Alpha) that has a Thunderbird add-on: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/PhoneSync/ (search for Thunderbird on that page for links to the download) NOTE: This service will be part of our paid plan after a free 30-day trial once it's out of Alpha/Beta testing.

If you simply want to get your contacts out of Thunderbird and into the Ubuntu One address book, then you can export your Thunderbird contacts and import them into Evolution.
